- This commercial grade tapered flagpole has a butt diameter of 3" and a top diameter of 1 7/8". The 6063-T6 aluminum tubing is 1/8" thick and is formed utilizing the industry's most sophisticated manufacturing processes. The thickness of this pole is twice the thickness of most lower priced sectional poles.
- Wind speed rating of 118 MPH unflagged and 85 MPH flagged. If strength is an issue when you buy, ask the seller what the wind speed rating of their poles are. Only the US made commercial grade poles are normally wind rated.
- Manufactured in three sections which allows the pole to be shipped by UPS or Fedex and saves over 50% in shipping costs without sacrificing quality, appearance or strength

Flag Size Recommended: 20' flagpoles are wind tested with a 3x5' flag and that is the size recommended by the manufacturer. If you increase the size to a 4x6' flag or fly two flags we recommend that you fly a 4'x6' flag by itself or fly a 3x5 flag along with a 2x3 second flag. It is important to remember that the additional wind load flying a larger than recommended size or by flying two flags reduces the strength of the pole. Customers must use their own best judgement to avoid wind damage in storms.
