Install your flagpole the right way. The steel ground sleeve is set in concrete and the pole slides inside, so it stays plumb and can be removed later for maintenance or replacement. A welded base plate supports the bottom of the pole and keeps the sleeve level and centered while the concrete cures, and the ground spike anchors it during the pour.
